7 Generations Institute (7GI) is a U.S. 501(C)(3) non-profit organization advancing the understanding and practice of family offices as instruments of systemic change.
Through research, education, and convenings, 7GI builds awareness around the role family capital can play in driving Africa’s long-term prosperity. Together with its sister platform, 7 Generations Africa (7GA), which supports families ready to establish and operate True Family Offices™, 7GI leads this movement to ensure that Africa’s wealth not only endures but also contributes meaningfully to sustainable development.

A curated sequence of high-trust, invitation-only convenings held across the continent, these gatherings bring together families, policymakers, and development partners. Our journey began in September 2025 with a historic launch at the UN General Assembly in New York, establishing a global mandate for African family capital. This momentum was immediately brought home to the continent—first to Nairobi (Stop 01), where we anchored the East African impact blueprint, and then to Lagos (Stop 02), where we coalesced West African families around a prosperity agenda. These milestones have not only united leading families and policymakers but have successfully ignited a Pan-African movement for multi generational stewardship.
